Franny and Zooey inspired on J.D Salinger

Franny and Zooey are the youngest children from the infamous Glass family. Their home consists of a suitcase . Tonight they are meeting for the first time since their oldest brother Seymour suicided. In the first scene we catch a so called glimpse of Frannys date out with her boyfriend Lane at a local restaurant. We follow Zooey in the second scene into the Glass family bathroom where he oracles about life to his mum on the other side of the showercurtain. Within their parental home and the reminiscence of their retro radio shows as kidstars we live through their inability to cope with their loss and the big questions of human existence.

This show is inspired on JD Salingers book “Franny and Zooey”. This book, a collections of novels written by the “Cather in the Rye” author was first published in 1961.
